Volumetric heat capacity is the energy needed to increase the temperature of a certain volume of a medium by a certain temperature interval. In FEFLOW, heat capacity is split into capacity of the fluid and the matrix (solid). Total capacity is obtained internally by calculating the bulk heat capacity from the fluid and solid values and the porosity.
