FEFLOW Extensions
FEFLOW's functionality can be extended in many different ways. Besides applying the different Programming Interfaces for user-specific extensions, a number of solutions are readily available:

One of the focus areas of todays water related applications is the interaction between ground and surface water. With piMIKE11 it is possible to present a realistic view of this interaction. The module couples the FEFLOW the MIKE Powered by DHI hydrodynamic software MIKE11. |
piChem |
piChem is a plug-in for FEFLOW for the calculation of advanced geochemical reactions together with aqueous phase flow and transport. piChem employs the interface version of PHREEQC as a reaction engine, which enhances FEFLOW’s built-in reaction capabilities with the full set of geochemical reactions provided by PHREEQC. |
piFreeze |
piFreeze is a plug-in for FEFLOW that extends the heat transport in unsaturated flow modelling with the freezing and thawing of water depending on the temperature. |
piHMC |
piHMC is a FEFLOW extension to introduce hydro-mechanical calculation in FEFLOW. |
piMIKE1D |
piMIKE1D is the newest DHI solution for modelling coupled surface water and groundwater. It uses FEFLOW 8.0 and MIKE1D engines. |
