3D View

3D view windows provide a three-dimensional view of the model domain of a 3D model. The view shows the model with all features turned active in the View Components panel and some additional components such as handles along the axes, an orientation icon (compass), and a simulation time bar that can be turned on and off in the context menu of the view window.

The view can be controlled by the settings in the Navigation panel and by using the tools in the View toolbar.

New (additional) 3D view windows can be opened by choosing New - 3D View from the Window menu.
