Problem Settings Dialog

Following the construction of the finite-element mesh, the recommended next step is always to define the Problem Settings. Here the different settings needed to reflect the conceptual model has to be provided, such as such as flow equation, inclusion of transport (mass, heat and age), simulation-time controls, numerical parameters, solvers, etc.

There are different problem settings, which are only relevant depending on the Problem Class (Flow simulation, Mass transport, Heat transport and Age transport) and model projection (2D vertical, 2D horizontal, 2D axisymmetric and 3D).
